Along with Shadow, Two Socks was the only 'Equus caballus' (latin for horse. Interestingly, both 'equus' and 'caballus' both mean 'horse' in latin) we'd met previously. Originally an acquaintance of Justin, he remembered Socksy and introduced him later to Drew. When we were casting for the movie, it turned out that not only was Two Socks' schedule totally clear, but he was needing some money to purchase socks for his two bare feet(/hooves). A perfect setup.
